[Mimmo Paladino (Paduli, Benevento, Italy, 1948). In his works the artist captures figures and obsessive forms inspired sometimes by the art and artifacts from past and present cultures. The visual language of Paladin is neither narrative nor essential:is fluid and ambiguous because art, in his way of expressing it, should not give answers but ask questions.
His numerous solo exhibitions have been held in public museums and private galleries around the world.
His paintings and sculptures are found in important public spaces and in prestigious private and institutional collections].
First copies of the work - made possible with the help of some Italian companies present in Bangladesh - were delivered to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dipu Moni, Hon. Minister Franco Frattini and Secretary of State Stefania Craxi.
