Scientific Cooperation

On 4th December 2000, a Scientific and Technological Cooperation Agreement was signed between Italy and Bangladesh in Rome. This agreement governs the exchange of scientists, researchers and technicians, the organisation of symposiums, and the provision of study grants. As part of the scientific cooperation programmes, an average of 25 Bangladeshi researchers attend courses of study every year at the Trieste-based Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics.
