The Embassy of Italy in Dhaka is glad to announce that the 3rd Edition of the Film Festival \u201c Fare Cinema\u201d will be held from 15th till 21st of June 2020. Being impossible to organize events in person, in the current circumstances, the Film Festival Fare Cinema will be available on line on RaiPlay platform https:\/\/www.raiplay.it<\/a> in streaming from 15th till 21st of June (without the limitation of the so called \u201cgeoblocking\u201d and without the possibility of download) with subtitles in English, French and Spanish.<\/p>\n

The offer of the contents of the Film Festival Fare Cinema on RaiPlay platform will be enriched with some Italian movies and documentaries recently produced (\u201cBar Giuseppe\u201d by Giulio Base; \u201cArrivederci Saigon\u201d by Wilma Labate; \u201cFellini Fine Mai\u201d by Eugenio Cappuccio; \u201cBaikonour, Terra\u201d by Andrea Sorini) and with some short films by Italian first-time directors (\u201cLe Metamorfosi\u201d by Giuseppe Carrieri; \u201cGiu\u2019 dal vivo\u201d by Manuel Nicoletti; \u201cCreatura dove vai\u201d by Gaia Formenti and Marco Piccarreda).<\/p>\n

Unless differently indicated, the link allows to download the content in \u201cclean\u201d version (without subtitles) and the files of subtitles in English, French and Spanish in format .srt. The indicated links have no expire date, with the exception of the videotour of the exhibition \u201cFellini. Il Centenario\u201d which allows the download till next 9th of June.<\/p>\n

Among other contents of the Film Festival Fare Cinema :<\/p>\n

-three episodes of the TV series \u201cOffStage\u201d (dedicated to the job of the actor, made with the Experimental Center of Cinematography of Rome) and three episodes of the TV series \u201c A scuola di cinema con RaiMovie\u201d (dedicated to the job of the screenwriter , made with the Associazione 100Autori), available thanks to Rai Movie; 18 episodes of the TV series \u201cFellini in frames\u201d , a journey through the cinema of Maestro Fellini realized with archive materials, available thanks to Istituto Luce \u2013Cinecitta\u2019.<\/p>\n

Fare Cinema is the film festival dedicated to the promotion of the Italian cinema and film industry. It is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities of Italy (MiBACT), National Association of Cinematographic, audiovisual and multimedia (ANICA), Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE) and Istituto Luce Cinecitta\u2019. Launched in 2018, it foresees the organization all over the world of events dedicated to the Italian movie by the Italian consular and diplomatic network and by all Italian Cultural Institutes, with the double objective to value the Italian cinema and the Italian professions in this sector.<\/p>\n

On the auspicious occasion of the anniversary of 100 years from Federico Fellini\u2019s birth (#Fellini100), the 2020 edition of Fare Cinema pays a tribute to Maestro Fellini. A space is also dedicated to the 100 years from the birth of the great Italian actor Alberto Sordi. The 2020 Edition will also mark the Italian Cinema World Day, celebrated on 20th of June, with five short films of the category \u201c Miglior Cortometraggio\u201d of 2020 \u201cDavid di Donatello Prizes\u201d.<\/p>\n
