The Embassy of Italy wishes to stress that it is the applicants’ responsibility to provide their correct and personal contact numbers and email addresses to VFS Global when submitting their visa applications. Additionally, it is applicants’ responsibility to regularly check their passport tracker for any changes on the status of their applications. VFS Global updates the content of the passport tracker when additional documents are requested and provides a deadline for their submission.
Wrong phone numbers or email addresses and failure to check the passport tracker cannot be in any case ascribed to the Embassy.
Additionally, the Embassy reminds the applicants that, subsequently to the conclusion of the visa application process, it is their responsibility to collect their passports at VFS Global within 90 days. Failure to do so will cause the passports to be sent back to the Embassy who will, in turn, forward them to the competent national authorities (Ministry of Home Affairs).

ইতালি দূতাবাস আবেদনকারীদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দিতে চায় যে ভিসা আবেদন জমা দেওয়ার সময় VFS Global-এ সঠিক ও ব্যক্তিগত যোগাযোগ নম্বর এবং ইমেইল ঠিকানা প্রদান করা আবেদনকারীদের নিজস্ব দায়িত্ব।
আবেদনকারীদের নিয়মিতভাবে পাসপোর্ট ট্র্যাকার পরীক্ষা করতে হবে তাদের আবেদনের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে আপডেট জানার জন্য। অতিরিক্ত নথি প্রয়োজন হলে VFS Global পাসপোর্ট ট্র্যাকার আপডেট করে এবং জমা দেওয়ার জন্য নির্দিষ্ট সময়সীমা প্রদান করে।
ভুল ফোন নম্বর বা ইমেইল ঠিকানা প্রদান এবং পাসপোর্ট ট্র্যাকার পরীক্ষা না করা কোনোভাবেই দূতাবাসের উপর আরোপ করা যাবে না।
এছাড়াও, ভিসা আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর আবেদনকারীদের দায়িত্ব VFS Global থেকে ৯০ দিনের মধ্যে তাদের পাসপোর্ট সংগ্রহ করা। নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে পাসপোর্ট সংগ্রহ না করলে তা দূতাবাসে ফেরত পাঠানো হবে এবং পরবর্তীতে সংশ্লিষ্ট জাতীয় কর্তৃপক্ষের (গৃহ মন্ত্রণালয়) কাছে পাঠানো হবে।
