Recalling its communiqué of 17 October 2024, the Embassy of Italy wishes to reiterate that all Nulla Osta issued until 21 October 2024 have been suspended by Italian Law Decree 145 of 11 October, 2024.
Law Decree 145 provides for the review of such Nulla Osta by Italian Immigration Offices. Only once a Nulla Osta has been reviewed and confirmed by the concerned Italian Authorities, the Embassy can contact the Nulla Osta holder to invite him/her to submit the application.
Several hundreds of Nulla Osta holders have already been contacted in this way and invited to submit their applications.
Out of this direct calling, work visa applications in Dhaka continue to be suspended. The interested public is invited to refrain from asking the Embassy for the reopening of work visa applications and wait for the direct calling.
A new application process will be launched in April for holders of Nulla Osta issued after 22 October 2024. Further information will be provided at a later date.
