The Embassy of Italy informs that following the publication of the Law 27th November 2020 n.125 in the Official Journal which has converted with amendments the Decree 7th October 2020 n.125, the Italian stay permits expiring between 31st January and 31st December 2020 have been further extended till the end of the declared Covid-19 emergency in Italy (31st of January 2021).
In case of direct flights holders of Italian stay permits expired between 31st January and 31st December 2020 from Dhaka to any Italian destination do not need to apply for a re-entry visa.
In case of indirect flights and to prevent any difficultiy during the stopover in transit countries, holders of Italian stay permits expired between 31st January and 31st December 2020 must still apply for a re-entry visa which will be issued – thanks to such regulation –in maximum 5 working days.
Previous requests of re-entry visas pending at the Embassy of Italy will be issued within 7 working days.
